{"id":46,"date":"2018-07-12T08:28:19","date_gmt":"2018-07-12T08:28:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ukeducation.co.uk\/ukeri\/?page_id=46"},"modified":"2021-02-23T12:03:05","modified_gmt":"2021-02-23T12:03:05","slug":"company-history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ukeducation.co.uk\/ukeri\/?page_id=46","title":{"rendered":"Who we are"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><em>UK Education, Research and Innovation Ltd.\u00a0<\/em>(or &#8216;UKERI&#8217; as we have become known) is a small company with a substantial thirty+ year pedigree, having been created in 1987. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">We mainly work in the education and social care sectors, focusing on designing and implementing solutions to persistent and challenging problems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">To-date our work has ranged from on-site educational consultancy, designing and providing technical solutions (such as data analysis, software and mobile solutions), through to the more complex design, training and resourcing of organisational and leadership change programmes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">We are very experienced in leveraging system improvement and change &#8211; sometimes on a large scale and typically included schools, councils, local authorities, multi academy trusts and private sector enterprises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">A unique feature of our approach is that we formulate our solutions by working over extended periods on the &#8216;front line&#8217; with the leaders, practitioners, and young people that we seek to support. This experiential methodology is &#8216;hard-wired&#8217; into our philosophy. The insight and empathy afforded by such &#8216;total immersion&#8217; has proven successful in designing new approaches that are &#8216;fit-for-purpose&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">Over our thirty year existence we have amassed experience in designing and setting up hundreds of self-sustaining programmes, projects and solutions across the UK.
