It enables schools to register their strengths and support needs, and broadcast them privately to other schools in the same\u00a0cluster.\u00a0In doing so schools are\u00a0\u2018matched\u2019 to each other on the basis of their complementary strengths and weaknesses, thus facilitating meaningful\u00a0collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The system encourages schools to seek, or offer, <em>any<\/em> type\u00a0of support. This might range from a simple telephone call, to a school visit to, or from, the other school.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How do\u00a0needs and offers get broadcast?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Privately, in two ways;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Via\u00a0an automated weekly newsletter, distributed within a pre-defined\u00a0group of schools.<\/li>\n<li>Member schools can log into the system at any time, browse offers of support and the needs of others, and set-up \/ update their own support needs and where they can offer others support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How secure is it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The system is hosted on a secure, encrypted system, with 99% up-time and full 24 hour back-up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who uses it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Large and small clusters of schools, including soft federations, hard federations, academy trusts and local authorities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can any school use it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes. Academies, maintained, independent, special, primary or secondary schools etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How can I\/we set it up for our own group of schools?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Very easily. We can set you up as a stand-alone group, or link you to a wider group. Everything is tailor-able.\u00a0To use the system, simply\u00a0join the project (click <a title=\"JOIN\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ukeducation.co.uk\/school2school\/?page_id=19\">here<\/a>).
